Ajanee Limada was born and raised in Long Beach, CA with family in Trinidad, and currently attends San Diego State University. She is a former krump dancer and current San Diego State University K.O. Hip Hop team captain. This photoshoot encompasses her passion for dance and one of her main aspirations in life is not to empower women or men but it is to inspire people men and women alike to empower and love themselves. Ajanee is an amazing person and Jenny and I look forward to seeing what she does in the future. This shoot was done in San Diego at the Salk Institute for science research, as well as Torrey Pines State beach. We wanted to encompass the mood of the passing of the new moon this past weekend by incorporating cool and warm colors that express the Earth and the night and their importance to the human being.

Jessi and I did this shoot at the beautiful Trump National Golf Course in Palos Verdes Estates, California a breathtakingly beautiful location close to where we grew up. Although we were getting interesting stares from the golfers considering Jessi was wearing a vintage faux fur coat on a preppy golf course, this coat is one of Jessi’s favorite pieces in her closet. Although a dramatic look, this vintage coat from Flashbacks in Encinitas is forsure a head-turner. It is much more interesting to be daring with your look, if you see something crazy at a vintage store and love it the answer is buy it! You only live once and who wants to go through life wearing boring ass T-shirts and jeans everyday. Have some fun and be daring buy some crazy outfit even if you wear it once, I promise you it will be a much better night out oppose to some sneakers and jeans.

Bell Bottom Comeback

Jenny is chilling on a massive bean bag at Love Shack in Venice Beach, California rocking these red, white and blue bell bottoms, surprisingly from Tilly’s! Her graphic tank from Urban Outfitters is complemented well with the vintage shawl, both black and white. Sunglasses complements of Flashbacks, Hillcrest. Throw some bell-bottoms with any tank, T-shirt or shawl and boom easy, quick steps to creating a dope outfit.
